LoRaWAN solar water quality chloride ion sensor is a wireless online monitoring terminal designed specifically for outdoor scenarios without electricity, integrating photovoltaic power supply, ion selection measurement, and LoRaWAN long-distance communication. The product comes pre installed with a triplet (DevEUI/AppEUI/AppKey), supports OTAA network access, and defaults to Class A working mode (switchable to Class C), completely eliminating wiring dependence and frequent manual maintenance. It can operate automatically for a long time, reporting real-time data on chloride ion concentration and temperature in water bodies, providing reliable data support for seawater intrusion warning, industrial wastewater discharge monitoring, surface water and drinking water safety assessment.

LoRaWAN Solar Chloride Ion Sensor: Core Advantages


  • Power supply and battery life: Equipped with a 0.88W monocrystalline silicon solar panel and a 3.7V/3400mAh lithium-ion battery, the default reporting cycle is 30 minutes, and the battery life is ≥ 3 years under normal use. Even on cloudy days, it can still work continuously for several days, achieving low-power operation of "forget it when installed" (note: ion sensors have high power consumption, and short-term reporting is not recommended).
  • Measurement performance: Using chloride ion selective electrode and Pt1000 automatic temperature compensation, the default range is 0-3500.0 mg/L (switchable to 35000 mg/L), the resolution is 0.1/1 mg/L, and the measurement accuracy is ± 5% of the reading. The working temperature is 0-50 ℃, the pH range is 2-12, and it effectively resists interference ions such as S ² ⁻, I ⁻, CN ⁻, Br ⁻, etc. The electrode has a service life of about 1 year, and users can perform two-point calibration according to the manual.
  • Wireless transmission and protocol: Supports multi band LoRaWAN 1.0.3 protocols such as CN470/EU868/US915, with upstream data including Cl ⁻ concentration, temperature, and battery voltage (in hexadecimal format, register addresses 0001H to 0003H). You can restart the device, modify the reporting cycle, or perform zero and slope calibration by issuing a down command.
  • Installation and maintenance: The sensor needs to be installed at a tilt of at least 15 degrees (avoiding inversion or horizontal), and comes standard with a 5-meter waterproof line (length can be customized). The electrode head needs to be soaked in deionized water for 10 minutes and activated in a dilute chloride ion solution for 2 hours before use; Long term storage requires cleaning and drying before returning to the original packaging. The whole machine is ready to install and use, coupled with LoRaWAN gateway and cloud platform, it can remotely view real-time data and historical trends.
