ZW-NHN-PRA is an integrated online ammonia nitrogen sensor based on a PVC membrane ammonium ion-selective electrode. It features real-time temperature compensation for fast, simple, accurate and cost-effective measurement of ammonium ions in water.
The sensor supports RS‑485 and Modbus/RTU for easy integration with PLC, DCS, industrial controllers and other third‑party devices. Its patented ion probe with a slow‑leak reference system ensures high stability and extended electrode life. With 3/4 NPT threads and IP68 protection, the sensor enables easy installation in submerged, pipeline or tank environments.

NH3 Water Quality Sensor RS485 Auto Temperature Compensation



The ZW‑NHN‑PRA integrated online ammonia nitrogen sensor is designed for reliable and high‑performance water quality monitoring. Built with a sophisticated PVC membrane‑based ammonium ion‑selective electrode, it provides precise detection of ammonium ion concentration in water. Equipped with automatic temperature compensation, the sensor delivers consistently fast, straightforward, accurate and economical testing results for various water applications.


This sensor adopts RS‑485 bus communication and Modbus/RTU protocol, allowing seamless connection to PLC, DCS, industrial computers, general controllers, paperless recorders, touch screens and other mainstream third‑party equipment.


It adopts a patented ammonium ion probe design, in which the internal reference solution permeates slowly through the microporous salt bridge under stable pressure above 100 KPa (1 Bar). This unique reference structure greatly improves measurement stability and provides a significantly longer service life compared with conventional industrial electrodes.


In addition, the sensor is equipped with a standard 3/4 NPT thread for flexible installation in submerged, pipeline or tank conditions. With an IP68 ingress protection rating, it maintains stable performance in harsh industrial environments, making it ideal for long‑term online monitoring.
