LoRaWAN solar water quality nitrite ion sensor is a wireless water quality monitoring device designed specifically for outdoor scenarios. It is powered by solar energy and has a large capacity lithium battery built-in, which can work for a long time without the need for an external power source. The sensor is based on PVC membrane ion selective electrode, which can accurately measure the concentration of nitrite ions in water (range 0-2 mg/L), and has automatic temperature compensation function. Through LoRaWAN wireless communication (supporting OTAA Class A/C), data can be remotely reported to the platform. The product is widely used for online continuous analysis and process control in industrial wastewater, surface water, drinking water and other fields.

This product is an integrated water quality monitoring device designed specifically for outdoor scenarios without electricity. It integrates solar power supply, LoRaWAN long-distance communication, and high-precision ion selective electrode technology, and can operate online for a long time without external power supply and wiring. It is widely used in industrial wastewater, surface water, drinking water, and agricultural production process control fields.

LoRaWAN Solar Nitrite Ion Sensor: Core Advantages

  • Solar self powered, ultra long battery life
Built in 0.88W solar panel and 3.7V/3400mAh lithium-ion battery, with a battery life of ≥ 3 years under normal usage conditions. The device supports low-power operation and defaults to a 30 minute reporting cycle, effectively ensuring the reliability of power supply for long-term outdoor monitoring.
  • High precision nitrite ion detection
Using PVC membrane ion selective electrode, the measurement range is 0-2 mg/L, the resolution is 0.001 mg/L, and the accuracy is ± 5%. Built in Pt1000 automatic temperature compensation ensures stable and accurate data at different water temperatures. The electrode has a service life of 1-2 years and low maintenance costs.
  • LoRaWAN wireless transmission, fast deployment
Supports multiple frequency bands such as CN470/EU868/US915, adopts OTAA Class A/C mode, and is compatible with mainstream LoRaWAN gateways. The device is equipped with a green indicator light to indicate the network status, and supports remote configuration of reporting cycles, calibration, and restarts, greatly reducing the difficulty of on-site operation and maintenance.
  • Durable and sturdy, with flexible installation
The sensor and collector are designed in a separate manner, with a standard 5-meter waterproof cable. The electrodes need to be installed at an angle of at least 15 degrees to avoid inversion or horizontal placement. The whole machine has reliable IP protection and is suitable for water quality monitoring environments ranging from 0 to 40 ℃ and ≤ 0.2MPa.
